My bank account that is non-existent has a ton of wrinkles in it. I could sure use anti wrinkle creams that work for us less than fortunate entrepreneurs of the internet. The closest I’ve come to receiving any kind of compensation for my work was from a weird site called 113directory. Here the best way to earn these days is from referring many to a service and hope that someone or many stick around for the gravy train to come later.

Kim Kardashian Rocking The Tools For A Hotter Black Widow

Kim would have made the Black widow suit of the New Iron Man 2 movie even more hotter than what Scarlett did. Sometimes, movies need to suffer on the acting ability for pure eye candy deliciousness. Hopefully Kim can get her skills honed for the new Avengers saga being planned from the Marvel camp. She would make an awesome Scarlet Witch!! Do you hear me Hollywood schmucks!! Let’s get Kim Kardashian into some of these blockbusters so I can expand my Blu-ray library..

Investment Opportunity Goes Gold

Credit Suisse 10g Gold Bullion

A leading industry analyst has said that future opportunities for Gold Investment are inherently linked to the fortunes of the US dollar.
Peter Tse, head of precious metals at the Hong Kong branch of the Bank of Nova Scotia, which operates in more than 50 countries worldwide, said that while Gold Prices fell yesterday, future opportunity was tied to the dollar, according to Bloomberg.
While this may not currently appear to provide as attractive a deal as the metal has offered in recent months, the underlying factor should not be ignored. If the dollar struggles, Gold Prices will likely rise.
Mr Tse, whose organization manages assets worth more than $485 billion as of July 31st 2009, told the news provider: "Gold still lacks momentum to go anywhere, closely following the track of the dollar. Gold really depends on how the dollar behaves."
Some analysts remain much more optimistic about the Gold Investment opportunities for 2010, irrelevant of particular market tie-ins to the dollar.
Peter McGuire, managing director at CWA Global Markets Pty in Sydney, an Australian investment firm, recently told Bloomberg that Investing in Gold for 2010 was "the place to be".

Steamboat Springs Goes Latin

Adelaide Dance Spinning

During her more than 35 years living in Steamboat Springs and throughout her life, Polly Idol never has stopped dancing.

She went to big community dances with her parents as a child, taking in all their steps and energy. She majored in dance education in college, and after moving to Steamboat, she taught classes and helped found the Steamboat Dance Theatre.

As couples dance became popular here, she jumped at the chance to stay close to her passion while dancing with her friends and community members.

To go without dancing for even a few days would be a lifestyle “that I don’t really want anything to do with,” Idol said Thursday afternoon as she and dance partner Charles Horton prepared for a new set of classes at Northwest Ballet Studio that evening.

The two have been sharing their love of swing, foxtrot, salsa, cha-cha, two-step and other social dance forms with Steamboat Springs as a teaching duo for about five years.

It’s not the formal, competitive style of ballroom dance potential students might have seen on “Dancing With the Stars.” Instead, it’s a style that’s more social, meant for people to revel in dancing in someone else’s arms.

“More than that, it’s a conversation that happens nonverbally with people,” Horton said. Dancers form a connection, communicating an artistic notion with their interpretations, Idol said.

Making steps their own

In an advanced-level class at Northwest Ballet Studio on Thursday night, Horton and Idol encouraged their students — four couples who had taken their classes before — to move their own way with the music, playing with the steps and having fun with their basic knowledge.

Their students come to lessons as a date night, as an outlet to practice the steps they already know or as a chance to check one more item off their “bucket list,” Idol said.

The pair’s social dance classes range in size, going as small as four or five couples and as large as almost 20 sets of dancers, Horton and Idol said.

Horton also teaches classes for people looking for help getting through their wedding dances. He and Idol offer private lessons or quick tutorials at community events on an on-demand basis.

Idol also occasionally teaches country styles, and goes out dancing socially as often as she can, finding open floors at community events such as Backcountry Ball or Ski Ball; public concerts by the Steamboat Swings community big band; or during country performances at Ghost Ranch Saloon.

“One of our greatest joys in a small community like this is that we see our students out dancing and enjoying each other,” Idol said.

Horton came to formal couples dancing years after Idol. He’d always loved to dance and started taking classes in the late 1990s after seeing a movie called “The Tango Lesson.” After seeing that movie, Horton decided he wanted to be able to dance into his 80s. The steps he learned in classes stuck, and he started teaching with Idol in fall 2004 after she asked him to put together a piece for the Steamboat Dance Theatre’s annual concert, he said.

New class starts Feb. 18

Horton and Idol spend about as much time preparing dance routines and teaching techniques for their classes as they do leading them. After their advanced-level class wraps up in February, they’ll offer a similar set of steps to beginners in a six-week class from Feb. 18 to March 25. They expect the class to fill up and encourage anyone interested in participating to register early.

Horton, a massage therapist, and Idol, an educational materials developer for TIC, said they’d have trouble fitting more than one class a week into their already full schedules.

The highlight of their teaching pursuits so far has been leading a lesson to more people than they could see at a Steamboat Swings community concert and dance in March, Horton and Idol said.

Cramer On Gold For 2010

goldcoins

Jim Cramer continued on his theme stock picks for 2010 on CNBC’s MAD MONEY tonight.  We have already heard Cramer’s theme picks for homeland security, technology, ADRs, and for energy shortages.  Tonight Cramer’s picks were around gold in his “going for the gold” theme for 2010.  Cramer said gold was up 24% last year and thinks it has not finished going higher.  His picks tonight for the shiny yellow stuff are the SPDR Gold Shares (NYSE: GLD) ETF, and then in miners he likes Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. (NYSE: FCX) and Eldorado Gold Corp. (NYSE: EGO).  Cramer even addressed the new small-cap Market Vectors Junior Gold Miners (NYSE: GDXJ) ETF for exposure.  A brief explanation of each and his more general reasoning is below.
Cramer thinks gold is better than holding bonds at the current point as currencies get devalued.  He thinks inflation will come and will go up if China releases its dollar-peg.  The net investment in gold rose five-fold and worldwide ETF holdings are at highs.  Central banks have increased gold holdings and emerging middle classes love gold in China, India, and Brazil.  An explanation of gold picks follows.

On owning gold bullion, Cramer likes this actually better than investing in the mines because there are no problems in business execution in the actual shiny yellow stuff.  Here Cramer likes the SPDR Gold Shares (NYSE: GLD) because it owns gold and moves in tandem with gold.  He likes this better than owning the gold bars.

In miners, Cramer noted that these can get crushed for reasons that have nothing to do with the cost of gold because of mines shutting, poor execution, labor issues, and other reasons.  Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. (NYSE: FCX) is Cramer’s top stock with exposure, although Cramer said that this one is only about 20% exposed to gold.  He likes that they have a large copper business and deals with China, and he noted that the company recently reinstated its dividend.  Eldorado Gold Corp. (NYSE: EGO) has some of the lowest costs in the business and is up 87% since he first recommended it.  He thinks it has upside still as their production costs are about $100 per ounce compared to its competitors and it has production growth (expected 96% this year) and has China.

In a speculative gold stock, he wants to avoid the individual small speculative gold stock plays.  Here he likes the basket of junior miners called the Market Vectors Junior Gold Miners (NYSE: GDXJ).  Cramer did not note this in his explanation, but this should be pointed out here…. this one is a recent ETF that came on late to the game late last year, and some traders have discussed the possibility of tracking issues in this ETF.
